Our Story

Foothills Healthcare & Aesthetics was founded by Megan Bumgarner, FNP-C, with a simple but powerful mission: to make health goals easy and accessible for everyone. Since opening our doors in Rutherfordton, we've been dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care that goes beyond treating symptoms.

Megan has been practicing medicine since 2016, specializing in Primary Care and Women's Health. Her passion for health and wellness drives everything we do — from developing customized treatment plans to staying at the forefront of the latest wellness innovations. Every patient who walks through our doors receives the same level of attention and care.

Today, Foothills Healthcare & Aesthetics offers a comprehensive range of services spanning medical weight loss, hormone therapy, IV treatments, peptide therapy, and our newest addition — Halo Red O₂ therapy. With a second location on the way, we're expanding our reach to serve even more of Western North Carolina.
